| Plot: | In 1991, Mogadishu, the capital city of Somalia, is torn by civil war. Meanwhile, both the North and South Korean embassies are lobbying to be admitted into the United Nations and looking towards the Somalian government for support. Jo In-sung, an intelligence officer working for the South Korean embassy, is tasked with passing the gifts from the South Korean embassy to the president of Somalia. He meets Han Kim So-jinKim So-jin, the chief ambassador in Somalia, who is running late to meeting with the Somalian president and thus immediately takes the gifts. While en route to the presidential estate, rogue rebel forces intercept Kim So-jinKim So-jin, and rob the gifts. They further spray the vehicle with bullets, disabling the vehicle and forcing Kim So-jin, to run to the presidential estate with his secretary, Soo-cheol. The two men miss the appointment by fifteen minutes and are thus denied an audience with the president. As Kim So-jin, attempts to explain their delay, he notices the North Korean ambassador, Heo Joon-ho, walking out of the meeting room. In his view, Somalia's support for North Korea will prevent South Korea from joining the UN. Kim So-jin, initially believes Heo Joon-ho to be the mastermind behind his robbery, but it is revealed that Heo Joon-ho's intelligence officer, Koo Kyo-hwan, was the one who bribed the rebels to delay and rob Kim So-jin,. Knowing what happened, Heo Joon-ho tells Koo Kyo-hwan that this was a shameless act that was unhelpful and possibly detrimental to the North Korean efforts. For complete story see the Movie |
